Post by jbartch »

hello i viewed a forum regarding the 2” narrow adjustible beam.
it stated with i’m lost. i’ve replaced every thing on my rig.
new thing 2” narrow beam, tie rods, ball joints, drum brakes to disc brakes (front and rear) shocks all around, torsion bar steering gear box. i mean everything!

and i have the same problem, with the car on the ground i have no front end suspension feels like it’s sitting rigid. no adjustment. please let me know if you have experienced this and what would be the correction???

What height is the beam set to? If it’s low the ball joints run out of travel.
With the arms fitted without spindles could you smoothly rotate them against the spring (or could they be binding)?

Some photos might help

Does your beam have urethane bushings, or bearings?

Does it smoothly cycle with the spring packs removed?

Are the adjusters set properly to not fight one spring pack against the other?
