Hello gang I am in the process of finishing my dual carburator set up. I was advised to open them up and adjust the float level on my brand new carbies. Is there a specific number that is recommended? What is the easiest way to accomplish it?
Thanks
Diego

Re: Weber 40 idf float level
Old thread I know but the float setting only shows the drop measurement.
The float height should be in the range of 10 - 11mm with the gasket in place and ball NOT depressed. The drop is less critical and is 28-32mm (gasket in place ball NOT depressed). Fuel pressure no more than 3.5psi max (otherwise it will push the needle off the seat).

Blackline Racing has a good video on the process -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54uPwTZ3DJwHow to set Carb Float on IDF Weber
