engine bay?

Post by Cam »

Hi everyone :)

I was wondering if anyone had any photos of 411/412 engine bays?

I'm particularly interested to see how the fan shroud attaches to the rear bellows. I've never seen one of these cars in the flesh but have been told it's similar to a Type 3, but using the type4 motor.

Any help would be great!

Cheers,
Cam

The fan shroud actually attaches to a plastic upturned funnel...which then attaches to the bellows....which then attaches to the bottom of the air intake scoop. Ray

This isn't a pic, but a scan from a factory parts manual.

Image

#35 bolts to the fanshroud, #41 is a large hose clamp, and #39 is a large rubber bellows

Does that help?
