Well, here is the the preliminary information on the 2006 Type 3 Invasion:

Where: Myrtle Creek, Oregon-- Exit 108 on the I-5 corridor
When: Mid July-- Friday through Sunday (informal Thursday gathering @ my house)-- 350 ft from the gathering site
Who: YOU!!! even if your car isn't running... (we had a great turn out of Type 3 people that couldn't bring a car. most found
rides for the cruises)
Why: Because faces and personalities make e-mail more fun!
Cruises: We will be doing a gentle speed cruise to the Crater Lake National Park. The lake is breath-taking and pictures do NOT even come close to the grandeur of the lake. Also we will hit a Roseburg car-hop for ice cream and food on the way back from the lake. This place has been handling car clubs/show/cruises for years.


We also have an opportunity for great small town exposure in 06... we are being included in a streetrod show @ a town festival (our own area/judging). The local show folks are excited to have us and have offered to do whatever is needed to make us feel welcome. Also, the town festival happens literally 500 ft from the car show area!!! Lots of folks can see us and ask questions/get the itch for a type 3. A nice little bonus will be the Saturday night fireworks show. It is about 25-30 minutes long and can be seen from my house's property. For those of you that have kids/spouses that don't dig the car show thing there is a sheltered play area, lumberjack show, rock crawl going on as well. Also, there is a small town 8 miles away with good antique shops, a casino and water access. I will have a web site up soon with some prelim pics of the site.
