Just wanted to officially say that the first East Coast Karmann Ghia Treffen at Stone Mountain was a success. 19 REGISTERED Ghias and some more that were not registered. As super setting and all who attended had a great time. I want to thank everyone who attended the show and say that it was you great folks that made it such a huge success. I just did some legwork. I believe in the 40 years that I've been going to VW shows that there were truly more Ghias in one location than I HAVE EVER SEEN. Thanks to all of you and our great sponsors: Karman-Ghias.com, House of Ghia, Karmann Ghia Parts and Restoration, AirHead Parts, Mid America Motor Works, CIP1 and SewFine.
Next year the show will be even bigger and better and I PROMISE I won't lose my keys. Found them AFTER the locksmith showed up.
Thank you all for making the show a great success. I'll take a couple of months off and then start on East Coast Karmann Ghia Treffen 2008 which will be held the same location.
