Jap look...

Post by sunnydude98 »

I was wondering if anyone has fitted a set of new Honda Civic 5 lug wheels to a 1968 vw with all stock brakes all around? I have a couple of sets laying around

16x6.5 ET 45
17X7 ET 45

both are 5x114.3/4.5

The fronts should be fine. The rears may require a spacer if they place the tires too close to the spring plate and inner fender..

Pass on the adapters! Find a good machine shop...they should be able to redrill your disc or drums to the correct bolt pattern to fit your wheels. I think California Imports can supply you with a set already done.
