Beam swap for a singlecab

:lol: Hey I'm new at the bus/truck thing I've done plenty of bugs and such.But have aquired a 63 singlecab and was wundering if a newer beam witrh discs will work or will I have to aftermarket Thanks dudes hahahah!

An early baywindow (c1968) balljoint beam will bolt up to your vehicle, and you could then fit later disc-brake spindles/brakes to it (I'd go with `73-`79, the `71/`72 stuff is obsolescent)...but your ride height will be increased, so you'd probably want to "lower" the beam (cut out/reweld the center anchor points for the torsion leaf stacks).

Bay beams 68 through 70 will bolt to your bus, same bolt pattern.

Thanks for the information guys only been on here 48 hrs and goten a response already and I hope I can help you sometime thanks again and I think I have a 68 or a69 bus at a friend for parts.:D

no it is only 68 and 69. 70 is a different bolt pattern.

Opps, I knew that, sorry for the miss-info. Had drum brakes on the mind, spaced out bolt patterns.
