Cutting and sanding

Post by EvilleT »

Is there one tool that does a decent job on both? I need to cut floor pans and other metal and would also double as perhaps a sander/grinder?

An expensive Angle Grinder.. for a tool like this avoid air tools..

I've had good luck with all my $100+ angle grinders... the cheapones go up in flames.

how lazy are you? how good does it need to look? got a pneumatic angle grinder (or die grinder, still not sure if there's a difference) at harbor frieght for very cheap and use the discs for grinding. technically not supposed to, but takes off rust and paint very well. leaves weird marks though, which is why i asked how you feel about the aesthetics. in the end, you probably wanna go some expensive route though.

Not too lazy

I guess I am time constrained like most. Maybe I started down the wrong path. Here is what I would like to accomplish. I would like to be able to use something to cut out the bad floor pans and other metal cutting. I wanted something for rough grinding.
