Made some great progress today

I cut out the rusty, poorly repaired quarter and the floor pan and fitted the new heater channel.

Wow that looks like a ton of work! I'm kinda scared of doing it to my car now. I didn't know you replaced the bulkhead too, thats also on my list.
Man looks good though, a ton of progress for two days.

2" narrowed beam with adjusters, drop spindles, front discs. Dual circuit brakes w/Volvo resevoir. I have to replace the frame head bottom panel, and I'll POR15 the whole thing.

Lots'o wirebrushing and cleaning.

Then repop 4 lug gas burners.

I've found that the abrasive polycarbonite disks work better than a twisted wire brush for pans.. .. do the entire pan for about $9 in materials.

You may need to bring your tools with and make a plan for how to mount it.

I use a Makita 5-1/4 disk sander tool to power it - not my angle grinder.

I got one that should fit my angle grinder. I'll give it a try this weekend.

You'll need 2-3 for a pan.

Been workin' on the chassis. Got the framehead bottom plate off and found a rats nest. Also discovered a lot more framehead rust covered with bondo
