Hey guys I'm back lol
After a year or so of sitting, I've decided to get my bus back on the road.
It's a 76 Westy 2.0 with stock fuel injection. It's been sitting ffor approx a year. Ran good when parked.
Heres where I'm at. Turns over but dont hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key. I asertained that I am getting spark by grounding out center coil wire. It has fresh gas in...
I ran a jumper wire from hot side of pump to + side on coil. This gets the fuel pump running when I turn the key.
Still wont fire up. Should I now check for fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge? Doesn't seem like its getting fuel to me.
Am I missing something? What next? Help....
Fuel injected Bus wont start..

Check for spark, points that sit open corrode and dont make contact, then go for fuel pressure check. MAke sure the rubber parts are not split, the AFM has to "see" vacuum to move the air door and turn on the fuel pump, pump should still run while cranking IIRC. Been a while since I was under a bus with Ljet.
2840 type4, turboed and injected with my GM conversion. runs great and still needs fine tuning.
