I have a 74 1800 that I bought and instaled it into a 76 camper. The carburator is a weber 32/36 electric choke, It was sitting a while but I have cleaned the whole thing out. The only way to start it is to pump the gas, then it starts unless i keep pumping the gas it dies. Ive checked for vacume leaks but didnt find any, Any Ideas would be great
thank you
matt

Sorry for the delay, not quite sure how I missed this post
Most likely gooped up main jets(s)
Sadly, the Weber progressives need to be pretty much disassembled to actually get at the jets, so plan on a full rebuild.
Not many Weber progressive fans here, they sorta do the job, but if you live anywhere it ever gets cool, expect issues due to the lack of carb/manifold heat.
They work great as duals if you can find the manifolds.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
