split type tranny out and later style inn

Hi guys 1st post in this section

A friend has a 58 split bus and want to replace the split type tranny with RGB with a later style tranny with RGB`s for a bit better croozing style

Apparently the split box is shorter than later style and there was something els that was a consern

Hallo Help PLs

Has no one replaced a Split style transmission as was in the SAMBA busses with out 1st gear syncro to later style syncro 1st gear type

What all is needed to fit the newer style box
I got some modiefied front mounting for the nose cone what els do I need to do

Help will be apreciated
