Modified Westy bed

I am re-constructing a westfalia z-bed to make it a full width bed for my 77 bus. Technically I guess this would be closer to the T3 weekender style with a full bed from side to side.

I will try and post alot of pics as I am reproducing each panel from a disassembled westy bed.

Has anyone ever seen a conversion?

I did the same thing on my '66 years ago. I used a late '70s Westy bed mechanism that opens like a treasure chest and made it into a full-width bed. It can be seen on my site here:
