You cross winds on the road? Usually adding castor fixes alot of this. You can get a small amount by slotting the upper strut mount holes in teh body and sliding the strut mount backward.
A better fix is to slot the vertical bolt holes for the two large bolts that hold the forward "T" section of the subframe...and slide the frame forward as far as you can...about 1/2". The rear bolt is already slotted in the body just for this.
Also lowering the front end to level by using the audi strut cartridge and stub helps tremendously. Also going to lower profile tires helps a measure more. I have 205-60-15's on aftermarket chrome 356 porsche steel wheels.....they fit perfectly. Ray

yes,, on 2k800 mills ,, i was very happy of my 412 and my suspention was very excellent,, you know i have 2 nos vw front shock and 2 ,,f 150 1978,, monroe, gas shock for the rear and they work like a merc. or audi,, with a big load inside or only the driver,, your suggestion for the f150 was excellent ,, but the shock for the f 150 ,,,1980 and + are more hard,, and more short,, the year 1978-79 are more smooth, depend what we like,,albert
