this is my goal. But I still dont know if 8J or 8,5J will fit under stock rear fenders And the brakes wont be big like this Porsche ones. The rest will be I hope like this Looking forward to collect all the parts
anybody who can give me a few advices what will be neccesary to convert my drums into 944 front brakes?:) Thank you !
Some adapter? I have pitmans, hubs, brakes, etc. (complete 944 brakes)
i have ghia brakes but for 944s i think youre goung to need a 944 master cylinder as well. take a look over on the germanlook.net forums lots of tech articles there. i hope im not out of line doc by redirecting to gl.
The back is for the time being standard drums drilled to 5x130. Here i have to use a spacer, about 15 mm, as i recall, to clear the inner wing of the car.
I have tried to fit 7,5 ET 52 to the Front, but that was to big.
In my opinion it all comes down the ET on the wheels.
I also see that you want to install the 944 brakes. That is possible. I see you have drum brakes now, so you will need a set of spindels to disk brakes or an adapter.
Most of the things can be sourced on the 2 homepages i have mentioned if you cant find them in your country.
They are not a real carbon fibre to be honest:) So special metod of water transfer printing, it is foil with a good clear cote. Everything from one piece, so the look is great, but the weight is normal of course.
