Had to get a couple tires mounted today so I can pull the slicks for spring. 215/65r15s

Well, after a major step back from damage on one of the new heads, I am finally moving forward again on the Roach.
Last night, the case savers, mil spec headstuds, pistons, barrels, heads, exhaust and manifolds were all installed. I like where it is. Now to tear it all back down and clean evreything again! But, it will work! The fk-8 cam, the Comp Eliminator heads, the 11.7:1 compression, the 1.5 rockers, the dry sump, the 1 3/4 header... all happy sharing the same space!
The only new parts on this engine are the bearings and the oil pump. And, the intake manifolds if I keep it n/a for a time.
