Hi Im new to this site,I hope somebody can help/clarify,I am having major head stud removal issues on a DJ case.
I have removed and drilled out the bottom left cyl#4,I hopefully will be able to instal a time-sert in this(as per old post, thanks).I have two more snapped ones top left and bot right on #3
I have gas welded nuts on the top, but the studs keep snapping.(about 1.5" left now)
Will there be enough clearance on the waterjacket on the #3 top l/h for a time sert?
If I screw up the holes is there clearance for a big-sert.
This is the fourth time I have replaced studs on these engines, albiet the others were DG cases guess, I have been lucky in the past.
