Intake temps where about 120-140 but it was 94 today with 70% humidity. Just don’t want to screw this thing up
My sensor isn't to report actual head temps, 150-160 isn't uncommon when fully warm or after 15 minutes of run time. Since we can configure the warmup curve you just set the top of the scale to your "warm" temperature. If you find it dips really low check and make sure the plug boots are sealed upto the tin so your fan isn't cooling off the sensor.

Thanks Mario I will take a look tonight and make sure.

The engine is 90% exposed I have not had issues with over heating. If anything it’s under heating and not getting the oil to temp

Turbo/EFI Baja

Post by Schweg »

Scored some 44 lbs injectors, gonna swap them over tonight. Any advice on tuning is there anything I need to do other then auto tune with them in?

Also looking to put a wing/intercooler holder on the rear similar to a drag wing if anyone had any plans for one that would be awesome

You have to enter the info into your "Basic/Load Settings" tab.
There are places to enter your injector size and deadtime along with other info.
It will compute your VE or you can enter the injector size and compute the % increase in flow.

Injector install did not go smooth to say the least.

Partially stripped my passenger side fuel rail. Need a longer bolt for that.

And I’m missing the injection cushion for one side so I’m awaiting parts till Tuesday.

We will see.

Think large O-Ring. It’s just a seal on the intake side. I wasn’t aware they where a thing either till last night.

One from your old ones won't fit?

No, the newer injector isn’t deep enough on these manifolds. Where the o-ring sits. I’ll try and get photos tonight.

I’m awful about them as the only time I have is late at night to work on the car.

I understand. I had to put my injectors on a lathe because they wouldn't quite fit down the hole in my manifolds. Silly

The amount of odd small tweaks and backyard engineering is fun to an extent. But part of my also hates it when bought items don’t go together as smooth as I hoped.
