So after some additional tweaks and removing and drilling out parts off other injectors I had around the house we are officially in business with the 44 Lbs . injectors. Fired the car up for a few test runs and all things seem good. Auto tuned for a bit but need to run it again with a bit more load and a few other things.
Looking for advice on smoothing a log once its been auto tuned?
Also for the TD04 guys with a stock 1600? and when are you seeing boost by?
I feel like I am running mine up to 3-3500RPM before I am seeing any boost numbers and by the time I am making boost I am shifting again. Not being negative I am super happy with this thing. But know that I feel like I have a base line set up I am ready to work on the tuning and filling portion of this build not the make it run portion.
As always thanks for any input.

I can't help much but I wonder if you could highlight the whole table and do a smooth on it?
And what do you mean you feel like?! You have efi now, there is no more guessing! Run a log on your next drive and look and see when your seeing boost. On the one and only drive I've done, I started seeing boost at 2300 rpm according to my log.

Im thinking that smoothing is a big portion of it.
Just pulled the logs I have and my feelings where justified. In first I only see boost after 3400 in my log with a shift I am seeing low boost 2-3 psi though out 2nd gear. Thanks for pointing out my dumb question. Its hard to see the forest from the trees sometimes.
I'll log some miles this week and see what I can't soothe out.

Yeah I'm not even in first long enough do anything. Pretty low geared. I really didn't look to see what gear I was in when I looked to see what boost I was getting. I'm interested to see other opinions on the smoothing. Never tried it myself.

In firqt it goes to fast to see it. It boosts. But in second it starts at arround 2400 and 2rd an 4th too i think.
I should look at the log

I looked at my log and it's harder to figure out what gear I was in than I thought. Mine seems to build boost at about the same rpm in 2-4 gear, but it didn't look like it built as much in second. I also only had 70% throttle though.

Yeah, loading 3rd gear seems to be the easiest way to build boost over a period of time and see what happens.
I also have a feeling that a turbo cam would get it into boost quicker. Still getting through the turbo cam discussion.
Not doing a cam till I find a cheap case to build.

NOS would build boost even better and it's cheap! And you have the electronics to run it!
How bout a set of 1.4 ratio rockers instead of pulling the engine down? Would give a similar result to a cam change.

I need to research ratio rockers, and valve geometry I’m not sure what’s involved but I’m interested to learn. also need to upgrade valve springs as I’m pretty sure mine are still stock. Appreciate the ideas

I'm not real sure about that either. I'm sure I will add some 1.4 rockers soon though. Solid rocker shafts are never a bad idea anyway. I put some single HD springs in mine a long time ago.
I have to say it's kind of fun being able to bounce ideas and experiences off of someone with such a similar build.
I watched this the other day.

Have you tried any E85 yet?

No e85 for me. I may go there but I want to get my gas tune and water meth set up so I have a fall back. Then maybe e85.
Also need to work towards sequential as I’m wired for it but not set up in the tune.
And yes having a similar build is super helpful.

Good plan. Although personally I would do sequential last. Not much benefit there.
