And I drove home like that. My race tims were with this cracked cylinder. I think Ill be even faster with more boost than this cylinder was getting.

Yes, my trigger ring was off by 13 degrees. I was running 51 degrees at wot. And someone here was picking on me for having a tame Sparkmap.

This engine sure is much happier with a Fat VE table. Everytime I try to lean it out in low load areas and cruise it just starts to heat up.
Probably with more knowledge behind the engine combo you could build a leaner running engine. With my 40x35.5 stock heads and an FK-41 cam it idles at low rpm's, but likes rich fuel.

I figured out my wastegate issue. Ended up having a new flange made to put the wastegate higher up. I will run a block off plate on the old flange. Now I need to get new heads on the engine, oil feed and return lines run, new clutch and pressure plate, hook up my MSD stuff, and get it into the car.

BROKEN VALVE ADJUSTERS.

Cheepo EMPI ratio rockers. That don't have but one size shim so I have to grind out other shims to try to adjust the sideplay.
Dang adjuster cups didnt fit my manto steel pushtubes so i put in Bugpack adjusters.
They're sheering off. I replaced some and while adjusting others are sheering off.

Rocker sets or valve adjuster recomendations will be appreciated.

CBs are a great product. Scats are ok but not as nice. Of course Bergs were the best.

Pauter billet roller tip rockers seem to be pretty beefy. They're a little spendy and little bulky so the valve covers need clearancing a bit. Mine are a little noisier than I'd hoped they'd be due to tons of side play. I'm on the hunt for a side play spec and hopefully a shim kit to get thiings in order.

Just to follow up, I contacted Pauter and learned that they set these rockers up with .015"-.020" side clearance. They aren't direct fed with oil pressure to the shafts so the clearance is part of getting plenty of oil to the shaft bore in the rockers. They recommend not going tighter than .012" and suggested that my noisy rockers were due to something other than excessive side clearance.

Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help.

I have a big problem with my Cb efi turbo. Heres what im faced with. Everytime i take it on the road i cant get it to rev over 4500rpm.

So this is what ive checked.

Timing dead on
Fuel pressure dead on,even changed the pump for new one. Plus filter, plus cleaned all lines out.
Spark gap, checked and are a light brown.
Leads, changed along with dizzy cap. Coil changed.
Tryed a few different timing curves no joy.
The AF reading sayes its running right, checked with laptop and gauge.

Tryed adusting enrichment on laptop with no joy. Its driving me mad.

So heres the spec.

2007cc CB super case
H beam rods
044 cnc round ports
Cb efi with 52lb map loaded
T4 turbo
Intercooler
Tcs 20 turbo cam
Msd 6al with Msd boost retard.

Cheers

Rich

You don't happen to have a 4500rpm pill attached to your 6AL box do you?

Hi Guys,

Pill fitted is 6500rpm.

Spark gap 0.056mm

Timing 15degrees static and max 30degrees at 3500rpm. Adjusted on the Cb dashboard.

Cheers
