It won't give any characteristic in particular, that's not the point of it, the idea is it's benign and safe for the street, and kind on the tyres, a basis to work from in other words, most folk think, I'll bolt on this and bolt on that and it will blow off anything on wheels when all the bushes and ball joints are naff, returning to how the car came out the factory is first job, the stock car, a bug, is surprisingly good just lowered, widened and stiffened with all un necessary weight paired off, put in 150 hp and not much stays with you on B roads, , the final tuning and balancing comes down to experience with shox, tyre choice and tyre pressures, and then perhaps adjustable ARB's, a rear bar is good only for you to say you have a Porsche part on your ride, in truth, it may drive far better without any bar on the rear, but you will be silent at the bar with no bragging rights, witness my post^^^^^ about the silly stiff 911 I blew off without even trying... i very much agree, getting to a good solid base line is something i'll admit i've forgotten about before. another thing is balancing performance and ride comfort, after all if its daily the suspension has to at least move
