The black top/bottom in the pic is the flange portion of the inner filter element. The inner is a metal mesh frame with rubber lips. The orange is the piece of uni filter element that slips over the outside.

They were so generous on the dimensions that they don't fit CB filter housings very well.

You could probably use some coupling nuts in conjunction with lock nuts to extend the studs if they are too short.

Not only the stud length (no big deal there), but the CB dual stage uni setup filters are too fat and wide to seat nicely into the CB base plates and top covers.

Nope. Close, but no cigar. The 9697s need to be about 1/2" longer to fit over the velocity stacks. Width is perfect, height probably not an issue. Just not long enough.

Picture? Measurement? Those with vertically challenged IDF want to know (Duals in a truck or single in anything)
