When the body finally was back in the garage after 15 years in storage in had to continue rustrepairing that....

Also thought that the original firewall was salvageable...
This as it was when I saved the molested split body back in 1996...

But had to fabricate a repairpanel from scratch as it was cut too short by previous owner...

As my skills have evolved I could not live with my old rustrepairs on the rear luggage shelf front corners so I ended up cutting out the old and fabricate new patches..

These were a bit if a challenge to weld in as I had already welded the Hebmuller rearseat frame to the body...

At this point I'm fabricating the firewall supports and other details in and around the enginebay.

This was the short version of what have happened the past year. Now I'm busy with some other stuff for a week so no progress until February for now...

Wow! That is quite the update! The car is looking great! The little details are definitely going to set this one apart. Keep up the great work!

Was going to weld some today. Almost finished welding the 20y old tackwelded seams over the cowl. But ran out of welding gas before I could finish the cowl....
