Cosmobug, did you have any problems with erratic readings from the LM-1? I have one I use on my T2.3 Mustang. It worked great in the factory position. I built a header and downpipe and put a bung about 8" from the turbo. I got very erratic readings. I moved the sensor back so its about 3' from the turbo, and it cleared right up.
If the readings are ever haywire, look there first. Which sucks with a nice shiny coated exhaust.

Get real man. I would not sweat a cool down unless you run it HARD. A small pull like that would barely even get it up to temp.
