Don't do a flip frontend if you don't have to
mine is a PITA to fuel up,, now that it's a street car,, probable non issue for a race care

AWESOME work by the way

Looks great man! Keep the hood and fenders, aka no flip front, this is so much more radical!
I agree! Did you move the rear wheel back a little?

Today I made a new window net attachment, did not like the appearance of the last one..
Bax is more keen on going for a trip than staying in the garage.
The axles and wheels should now be centre in the arch. I had to shorten the ladder bars to get enough adjustment, and getting straight wheels.
There is some more welding on the chassis, before I’ll lower the body on the pan

Keep on with the good work Mister and keep those pictures coming!
What about adding a turbo spool up valve this time? Allowing the turbo to build boost really fast and effiecent. Much easier on parts and it allows you also to keep the boost up between gears without the painful antilag. Basically a WG on the boost side which open up to allow superquick spool and superstable boost.
And a Merry X-mas to you!

Thanks Kalle! More than welcome to see it live in the shed over New Years
I’ll try to remember to take some pictures tonight. Boring bodywork I think, but might whip out the TIG also!
I’ve seen a few cars with an extra WG on the intake, but can’t seen to understand how it works?

Are they also called a "quick spool valve" ?

So.. If I where to have a steel front, I would need a spare wheel well, new apron, new tip of the sides..

Norway is kind of the same. Salt and undercoating sucks

Yea if idiot's would lean to drive on sanded roads instead of having to have to salt so they can have nice dry roads

As you said, with some people it doesn't make any difference in what conditions the roads are in... they still can't drive safely

.
When the compact snow and/or ice is thick enough sand alone doesn't make enough of a difference to justify using it as the preferred stand alone media. We don't get as much snow where I am or as deep and long lasting amounts snow as the people in the mid-west do so the snow plows alone do a pretty good job here. Wake up to 4" of wet snow then by noon the snow is usually pretty much gone

. The street I live on is steep enough that they do block the street from traffic but there are 2 access ports (emergency vehicles can use them year around) that can be only used when the street is blocked off.

Yo!
Very easy to explain. It allows you to use a bigger turbo without adding lag = more power! Basically you open the boost pipe with a waste gate so that the turbo is blowing into open air = free spool without surge. It spins freely and extremely easy. Just do it and add a 98mm - 1500hp turbo

I saw yesterday that Precision has a new 143mm turbo. Good for 5500 hp. Should fit under the apron.
