Looks great. I would think you will be good with the extra room on the wheel Arch.

Thanks

I'm going for taller and wider tires. Not sure if I'll go 27 or 28" yet.

Yes. 26x9,5x15 Hoosier Quick time pro (same as a 8" slick)

I think I'll go for a 28x11,5x15 Hoosier Quick time pro (same as a 10" slick)

Indeed. I was thinking there would be a sharp lip where the fender meets the body, but after looking at the pics again I see how you made that now. Really could be as wide as you want.

It was a sharp lip, but now the tire will hit the welded in flange.

The dzus fastners will be raised a 1/2" or so, and will not meet the tire :)

Not much action lately. Found out the body is massively crooked, so looking for a new body. Have a few on hand, so will post some pictures when I've bought a new one.

The body sat 3cm over to the left after trying to set it as far right as I could...

That’s life. I think it’s the other way around but still.

The heater channels are WELDED to the body also, so no easy way of fixing.

Bought a 65 shell that looks rust free today, and Bax is fully a sleep in the garage
