I entered an 1/8 mile class, but got one 1/4 mile pass. 15.46 at 86 and a 9.67 in the 1/8th. Best 60’ 2.09. It’s spins a lot. Lost first round. Had fun and nothing broke.

It ran well. About the only thing that would be nice is more traction. I have never tout her the boost controller. So this is all with 11lbs. I’ll post videos

So what does one click on my Amazon boost controller give me? Without it I was at 5lbs. With it installed and turned all the way down, I get 11lbs. I guess I have to try one click.

So turning it out lowers boost? What did the manual say?

It’s from Amazon, there’s no manual. Lol
It’s labeled, though. The open port is the vent. I’ll try one click this weekend.

Yeah, I know. I hate running hose’s and wires forward. Because of its design, most think it’s plumbed wrong.
Watch Lucky on HotRod Garage plumb this exact one wrong. It requires the TEE.

I’m had mentioned this on the samba, but here’s the follow up. My buddy will sell me a short block with a 69 cw crank, lightened flywheel and fk7 cam for 200 bucks. It’s cut for 90.5/92. That plus’s new 90.5 cylinders. Let’s me use some ported 40x35.5 heads. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I helped him pick this cam for a turbo 20 years ago. He never turbo’d it. Then drove it maybe 500 miles since with 40 IDF’s. The bug just sat. He said it moved. Now he used his top end on another project that he’ll never drive.

I started the bug to warm it up yesterday and the Afr gauge was working(it hasn’t been). Then when I restarted it a little while later to actually drive it. The gauge wasn’t working, again. It’s gotta be wiring. I hate wiring!
