compression set @ 7.4:1 so 20psi should be no problem
HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE THROTTLE CABLE TUBE SO HAD TO HOLD IT IN PLACE WITH A PRY BAR. I HAD MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT THE FAN BELT WAS GONG TO STAY PUT!!! CANNOT WORK OUT HOW TO ROTATE THE IMAGES
I have bought a race tech meter which can monitor the temps on both sides of the charge cooler. I will try and get it in when I get a moment and see what the results are like? I may need a larger water tank depending on results as mine only hold 1.5 litres.
Quite a large fan assisted radiator above the gearbox and a vw electric run on water pump. I need to get some data first then may replace the tank and pump.
Here's some video of the first autox this season, a very technical, tight course with lots on switch backs. The entire course was done in 1st gear, topping out around 50-55mph. Even though I was out 1st group on a cold morning I still managed 15th in raw time out of 160+
First test drive in my draw through turbo 1600 I just finished building plus a video of a (smokey) cold start. Working out the issues one by one, she's gonna be fun!
