Only thing I can add is everyone says not to use those anodized plugs. And no aluminum. Apparently you can't get them back out so they are kind of there for good. I guess that leaves brass or steel.

I’m open to options brass is definitely cheaper then aluminum and easier to get. Though I worry about expansion rates.
V8nate - did you use aluminum?

I can't remember now but I'm pretty sure the stock plugs are aluminum. I figured they would expand and contract similar to the case. I also used some rtv (dirko) to seal them but any thread sealant that is ok to use with oil and is safe on aluminum should work just fine(loctite 565 would probably be better)

The plugs are aluminum
I’m gonna lock tight them for sure.

I removed all the plugs except for the plug that restricts the oil galley for the small main bearing on the pulley side of the case to thoroughly clean the oil passages( i drilled the extra oil hole for the cam to lifter galley and blasted my case)

Father’s Day cracks me up for that there is always a plan. I just never know what it is.

Yep. There is a big mess in the kitchen right now! Back out to the garage for me before I somehow get in trouble!

Reworked my dash this weekend as i finally had some free time and I have been wanting to do it for a bit now.
As I didn’t want to loose my fuel gauge and I am cheap. Here is my fuel gauge fix.
I also had/have to change out the ALT light the one I had was an LED and I didn’t know but I have it working with an incandescent it’s just ugly.
Happy belated 4th gents.

I wouldn’t have changed mine but I had that speedometer laying around and figured why not. All of it is wired so the factory harness isn’t cut so I can swap it if I want to pull it.
Though the GPS speedometer is tracing my mileage after swapping to EFI.
