I’m also at 120 or so ambient on the baja and with a huge Intercooler, though with water meth I never saw more then a 10° rise over ambient even at 20+ psi.

China turbo is pretty vague. Any more specifics?

Ok that shouldn't be too small to be just creating heat.

Yeah I don’t think so either. My intake temps are right on track for not having an intercooler so I’m not worried about that. The cruising temps are just a result of everything heating up and staying hot while cruising. This is just the life of being forced induction with no intercooler

I guess. Just seems like with that thing hanging out in the breeze it should be running a bit cooler. Mine is all jammed up under the hot engine and exhaust pipes with no where for the heat to go. But it is what it is, seems like you have exhausted all your options. As long as your not getting detonation it should be ok.

Yeah the air just heats up as it goes through the intake. The compressor side of the turbo is way too hot to touch just from cruising so the air heats up just passing throughbuguy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 11:23 am I guess. Another month or so and we should be able to enjoy some lower intake temps!

I would change the intake to a 'T' style instead of the 'Y' that will help with fuel atomization
I had a guy making them out of aluminum tubing 2" down tube and 1 /34 " to the end castings, but It's been two years since he's made any
Motor looks good,, Luv the 'Dump Pipes'
