Re: Turbo/EFI Baja (renamed to eliminate confusion)

Got the new turbo header installed and the turbo on.

Now I need to re configure my piping from the turbo to the throttle body.
Also still no luck on the ECU connecting with a different computer. I get a noise but the computer says it’s not a recognized usb device and TunerStudio still doesn’t find it.
Other notes, my fuel pump is in backwards and my fuel pump relay is bad.
2 steps back one foreword.

Have you tried flipping but the in and out on the usb? It sounds like its powering and and grounded. It's just not sending signal.

Honestly, I’m frustrated but still enjoying it for now.buguy wrote:Your almost there brother! I know it's frustrating but you will get it!

I’m keeping my head up, in that all this pain is self induced. And this is just the beginning of trouble shooting. All that said software issues drive me crazy as I’m a visual guy it’s hard for me to get some of it. Despite all my informal and formal training.
Your right behind me man.

Yep. In the end you will know more about it and be able to fix it on the side of the road someday.

The amount of time i lost on a cheap cable, the fdti ones are like £20.... that’s cheaper than a laptop

I’m not against buying a nice cable. But I’m at a loss with how it matters as I have to cut off the end and wire it in directly.

Re: Turbo/EFI Baja (renamed to eliminate confusion)
Hopefully that's all you need. I've definitely seen the same errors, and I believe that's all I had to do. I don't have an Apple computer, and don't think I had to download any drivers. Then again, I've usually had wifi nearby and my computer may have done it on it's own.
The struggle is worth it in the end. Especially when it comes to future troubleshooting and such. Keep going!

Chip,
Working with two different computers we will see which one I can get working first. I haven’t found anything googling.
Hoping to get an email response from the help desk in the morning.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's a pinout issue on the diagram itself, cause I'm pretty sure I dealt with it at least once. If not both times I wired that system up.Schweg wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 6:52 pm CHIP I OWE YOU A DRINK! Or two!!
