Let me first introduce myself, my name is Dominic, or Dom for short.
I love VW trikes, if I did this right you should be able to see the picture of the trike we built, up top.
I was referred to this site by another triker, its seems that you have very knowledgable people here.
God knows, I have a lot of questions.
I will start easy.
One of the biggest problem with a trike, is the obvious weight distribution, which cause the trike to lift upon take off ( Wheelie )
There are several way of remedying this situtaion, either flip the transmission and motor in order to create a Mid-Engine configuration, or moving the engine far enough up front.
Biggest problem, axels being off centre in relationship to CV joint.
I know some of the sandrails use buss axels and tranny, change the CV Joint to 934, and do all kinds of stuff.
My question, after all this is, how many inches or degrees can the axcels be off center to the CV Joints.
