Brake trouble

Post by fastback »

Tried to finish my brakes today , but got some problems.
When bleeding the brakes (front and rear system dual circuit) , the brake fluid only dropped in the system for the rear brakes.... though fluid and brake function came on both front and rear system..??

the brakes seem to work good(maybe some small amount of air still trapped in the system, due to "foamy fluid when bleeding the rear system)

eveything is brand new .

the system:
Kersher large dual circuit Master cylinder
Front Porsche Boxter 4 piston calippers
Rear Kerscer disc brakes

Any ideas?

Thx!

Hey Jørn!
Do you have a line lock?Maybe it's something there that causes the problem,or maybe its something that clog the oil channel from the reservoir..?

èlo Stian :)
Well i have made progress. the problem with the fluid only dropped in the one reservoir is gone after pressurising the reservoir and bleeding.
i have though a Bias valve mounted on the rearbrakes.
the pedal is a bit low when i have the bias valve fully open.
i think maybe the rear"system" in the masterpump is a bit small for the rear calipers.when i adjust the biasvalve the pedal gets high.
Now it only needs a testtrip to break in the pads.
