Sand rail with a bus motor

This sand rail has a White hil frame from Michigan, and maney parts from a 1974 Transporter.

The transmisson and motor is a 1700 cc from the 1974 Transporter. Dual ID 40 Weber carbs.

Another Whitehill frame, looks cool and a 4 seater to boot, nice 8)

Get a chance would like to here some specifics in the ORF.

Thanks, I enjoy it. I Picked this frame because it was the largest one they made at the time. A buddy of mine has one that is also a four seater and it was the smallest they made. Boy was it tight to sit in and he had the seats really low in the frame, it felt like I was draggen my rear on the ground. We buggy alot together and he really likes the size of mine.
