Hi, (Iposted this on speed and drag racing page but didn't want to miss any advice from the experts on here)
I'mSuper Mag CNC round port heads with 40x35.5mm valves, dual 45DRLA Dellorto carbs, stock fanshroud + full flow cooling, I'm thinking of fitting a 1 5/8 header with my Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Ignition wise, I currently have an 009 but want something better as new ones are all rubbish but dont want to spend a fortune so am i nterested in your opinions.
I'm not sure what the compression should be but the engine is going into a '68 bay microbus daily driver and needs to be capable of being driven at 65-75 for long periods. I will be using 95 octane petrol.
Thanks, Spud currently building a 2176cc motor but I don't know what cam to fit, I have a bugpack 4063 but don't know if it will be suitable for this engine?
The specs so far are: 94mm pistons, CB 78.4mm super race crank, CB 044
