Howdy
We have done over 800ks (480 miles) since we put the EA81 in the Bus all has gone good no problems,
When driving on the highway at 60 mph it is reving at 3600/3700 which I think is a bit high I thought around 3200 would right?
Marlin is a 85 Vanagon auto with 205/65/15 tyres all round
Can anyone tell what other Vanagon auto rev at 60 mph.
I was thinking of putting larger tyres on the rear to drop the revs.
Thanks
Marc

That's about right...
Bigger tires are the usual fix.
If you ever decide to get a trans built, I believe Albins makes a 3.44 R&P for the late bus auto. (probably other choices too)

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
