Oh well, I did get the MiGi pictures in but got my other hobby, the bees, in too. Hope you guys don't mind.

Hi, glad you like the pictures. The kit was made in Minneapolis if I remember correctly. It is from FiberFab. I built the car in Missouri. It moved form there to several places. Sat the longest in the garage in Kentucky and now is in our winter home here in Florida. It is great fun just to mess with and keeps me away from Silliyvision.

Well I am still messing with the MiGi. Tried the center mounted EMPI carb but it would not fit. Now there are two of them on the sides. Still am having problems with fitting. I am moving the whole engine cover back
2 1/4" with a temporary, maybe permanent, wooden spacer and aluminum channels to do away with the piano hinge. This involved the moving of the rear skirt mounting angles with grinding and rewelding. This also became a problem because I did not want to get weld spatter on the fiberglass. Well, the wife has to buy another box of heavy aluminum foil because I used it as masking cover over all the touchy spots and it worked fine. Maybe this will help someone else. Now I will just have to do some more thinking on the rest of it but I think it will work great. Take care and have fun

Just as a follow-up, the MiGi is running again with two Empi carbs. The whole thing was a bit of a nightmare but now the lid fits again, and looks good, at least from a distance. I just wonder if anyone ever went through the installation of dual carbs on one of those Fiberfab MiGis. I had a heck of a time getting the clearance for the linkages and stuff, but now it looks good. The top wooden spacer that is now covered with naugahyde pushes the whole engine cover back some, needed the relocation of the battom skirt brackets and leaves a space down the sides that I am not sure what to do with. I might just leave as is because the engine is getting more air now.
Oh well, another wild idea is done. I will post pictures if anyone is interested. Take care and have fun.
