Rust bullet question

I'd like to use my lphv stayer to get it intp places I can't reach with a brush. But the paint seems too thick. It's been sitting unopened in the gallon container for nearly a year. I can't find any info on thinning the stuff. The faq says to clean the equipment with xylene but doesn't say to use it for thinning.

Any suggestions?

Doing this off the top of my head.

Guessing Rust Bullet may be tougher to use sprayed since it has Aluminum flakes.

What type of area are you trying to get to?

You could consider an engine cleaner.. this would save your gun.

The FAQ says automotive Rust Bullet is thinner for spraying, compared with other applications. I remember a machine shop painted it on steel braces for my barn. It took about three weeks to dry. I didn't see anything about aluminum flakes. Maybe I don't know what's too thick for the spray gun. Maybe there's no info on diluting because it's not necessary. I'll probably try it straight from the can to see what happens. If it destroys the gun, it was only $20.
