Ok guys, what's the best set up to lower the rear. Useing early 6" fuches with 205/65s. Extended axle tube set up or ofset spring plate or narrow the tortion housing and run stock bug tubes.

Haven't a clue, but 'research may be exactly what Shag55 is doing. STF.com is one site where I've sent quite a few folks for research on custom ideas/projects/brainstorms/brain farts/'ultimate' DIYs.

Like this site you'll find totally unrealistic schemes to absolutely dead factual info from solid pros, with a lot of great advice from hobbyists who have actually paid the price in blood, sweat and money to get their vehicles performing to their specs. You'll also find out most of 'what doesn't work' from those same folks.

IMHO lowering is for road racers, show cars, pimps & other posers, but admittedly, my opinion's colored by demanding to be able to take my camper all-weather camping, without worrying about a little rough stuff on unpaved roads, fording a shallow creek, or chaining-up for snowy winter conditions.

But hey, do it your way... make it 'yours'. It'll probably look great.
