Where to find 16" Porsche wheels

Post by radiant-designer »

ok so I admit I know little about Porsche, so I am relying on your expertise here. I am looking for a place where I can find some 16" or 17" wheels int he 5X 130 Porsche pattern.

I am doing a swap on my VW beetle to 944 turbo brakes and need to get some rims and tires that will fit my new pattern. I just spent way too much to do this so if I can get them used cheaper than great!

I really kike the Gas burner style but i think those are only 15"

They don't make rust in New Hampshire?

Porsche drivers tend to kill their share of cars as well.

VWVortex has an active wheel forum as well.
(All formats)
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Any luck on wheels ?

I have a set of 964 wheels 7 & 9 x 16, the pic is not of any of the actual wheels, but if interested I will get pics.

If I recall correctly, wheels are in good shape. Now you will more than likely need spacers and longer studs for what ever wheels you go.

$400 plus shipping

space savers can be bought cheap enough
I have a set of these 5.5x16 ET30, buying them one at a time I've bought them for less than $250 for a set of 4 :D

I have to get the second valve hole tig welded up then have them mirror polished, and the outer most rim edge painted either red or black

only downside to these wheels is the lack of centre cap
