I'm reinstalling EFI on a 1969 Squareback that had everything removed and switched to carbs. I have the Clymer manual but it isn't very specific on locations. Where was the fuel pump located for the stock EFI? Near the tank? And where is the return fuel line to the tank located? I see what might be the remains of the old line on the right side of the transmission when looking in from the rear of the car.
Thanks!

The stock pump was mounted in the beam. I can't remember which side.
Your tank has two "petcocks" — one feed, and one return. There are two lines in the tunnel, again, one feed and one return.
I'll search and see if there are some photos of all the factory stuff.

Thanks for the info and yes, if you can find some pics, I would really appreciate it!
