Hi, any tips on fitting this?

Ive put the rubber strip along the gap in the frame and slotted the glass in as far as I can with some pressure.

I doesnt feel like it will go in any further, but im not too confident that the glass wont work its way back out.

Maybe I read that wrong, you put the rubber to the frame first then tried to install the glass? Is that right? If it is that is backwards, put the rubber on the grass then install to the vehicle.

Install the rubber on the glass, put a lubed cord in the channel of the rubber where the frame will be seated overlapping the ends of the cord on the bottom, with this assy held against the frame/opening, apply some silicone spray on the frame snuggly then start pulling the cord so the lip of the rubber goes over the frame, go back and forth on each side until the cord has pulled the rubber lip over the entire frame, having an extra hand on the outside applying a little pressure helps, window should be fully seated.

That works for side glass or screens, but not the same on a vent window

Misunderstood the 1/4 light, silicone and a rubber mallet - gently with the mallet.
