i bled the brakes and rebuilt the driver rear wheel cylinder
(busted in the process of bleeding)
putted her out so i could sweep the floor
i puttered her to the garage from my house
and today i drove her around the building
* when i purchased her she was in about a foot or so of sand*
1st i here a knocking
maybe CV joints?
2nd i have already replaced the ATF and cleaned the screen
Looked Great inside!
dont remember if i did anything with the final drive but i think i changed that too
the car starts fine
when the starter engages
(need to clean the starter)
the oil is perfectly clean and full
new filter
plugs ok (today)
timing was good (last time she was started)
dwell was good last time i checked it
and the fuel pressure was good (last checked)
but at the moment
when i hook the tach up to the coil it seems to drop the idle
I Have Not checked the compression at all
or the valve gap
but it seems to idle fairly well
and i know theres slight vacuum leaks
but those alone wouldnt make it Drive the way it does
D & R make it go
but even if i floor the gas
it doesnt really pick up and go
it still putters and slightly raises in RPMs
and it doesnt shift at all
maybe the RPMs arent high enough to shift
what should i be looking at
the transmission?
I Have NO Idea why it was parked
but the A/C was hanging from the dash
so im thinking it was something to to do with maybe the MC
or the ignition
