Need help with wiring

I'm attempting to install this defroster booster kit with the two electric motors. Maybe it's too simple and I'm overthinking the problem but the instructions includes just one paragraph on wiring. Copied from the paper:

"Power comes from the positive side of the battery to the fuse holder then to "B" on the control switch....From the "M" terminal on the switch 16 guage wire will branch to butt connectors on the two motors."

And that's about all it has to say. So I connect heavy wire from the "B" terminal on the voltage regulator to "B" on the switch, with the 15 amp fuse between the the "B's". Then connect "M" to the two motors. What about ground? Each motor has a yellow and black wire. Fiddling on the bench with a 12V dry cell, the motors work regardless of how the wires are connected to the 12 volts.

I didn't check any closer and the motors are mounted now. Do I connect "M" to each motor's yellow wire and then both black wires to ground? Or the opposite? Or does it matter?

TIA,

kevin

Yellow would be the power side and black the ground side. Reversing power and ground will reverse the way the motor spins.

Thanks for the help. I got it wired to the switch and the motors work. Still no defrosters so I've got more work to do.
