I am wiring a Baja project with my boys.
Headlight run through a standard relay, works great.
Dimmer switch
We are set up to use a (mon)-off switch.
I ran a standard relay, but it will not toggle- high/low.
Would love to find a way to make the two standard relays (toggle),
or a toggle type relay that will fit into a standard relay socket.
Thanks
Team Frankie

Re: Headlight dimmer
Get this relay..... IT not only toggles from high to low, but you can "flash" headlights with "lights off" all by a momentary contact push button....

Wired like....
IF you want to be able to "flash" headlights terminal 30 needs to be wired to independent "full time" 12 volt source (not through head light switch via jumper from 56). I know you have all that fine technology in DIN rail, but some time it bites you....

Re: Headlight dimmer
In my '74 Thing and my '71 Super, I use the stock VW dimmer relay, but I also use a standard Bosch relay to enable flashing the high beams when the headlights are off.
It's wired like this:
Good luck, Mondshine
