I'm trying to figure out how to replace a slave cylinder on a 2 door 411 or 412 (not sure of the diffrence) for the family of a guy that passed away so they can sell the car. I noticed a couple of inspection pannels behind the rear seat , do these allow access to the slave cylinder? does the hydraulic clutch use reguler break fluid? thanks for the help Jeff

Jack the car up, remove the fitting for the clutch line, and remove the 2 13mm nuts holding it on, and pull or pry it out. They can be pretty seized in there. I use dot 3 brake fluid. It is located right on top of the bellhousing, do it from underneath.

Thats a pretty good explanation. I usually jack up the left rear...put it firmly on a jackstand...and remove the left rear wheel. You can reach in past the spring for good access. Ray
