performance pads for Girling calipers?
I have a 74 ghia with girling calipers that use the oval brake pads. with a 2276 turbo I find myself on the brakes often and pretty hard. I haven't really felt like there wasn't enough brake power, just wondering if there are better pads out there? I have found organic, metallic, and ceramic pads but they are all in the low end materials. what's the best option?

I think most of the answers you'll get will be opinions, but with that being said I prefer Carbotech brakes out of North Carolina.
I've had the most success with their products. If they don't specifically list your application, they can bond their friction material to the backing plates from old brake pads.
I think Porterfield makes a decent pad for these calipers and Frank Camper or others may be able to chime in on that one.
