1914cc oxyboxer or 2176cc type 1

Hi!

I have the 1.9 DF WBX complet engine and a Type 1 case and Type 1 78.4mm crank... I am desideing what would be a better daily driver for my 1970 bug...
The heads that i have are 040 mexico heads (40x35,5 valves) bored for 94mm cylinders.

Gearbox is the shortest one, IRS, tires mounted are 225 50 16.

Any suggestions from here on?

I dont know what you want us to say, it depends what condition the wasser is in, the low power 1.9 DF is not the best base engine to start out with compared to a DJ/MV or late '86 on 1.9's, the heads are small valve, the crank is only 69mm,, the con rods are good tho, better rod bolts then the others, i also have a 2.5 based on a DF case, but theres no magic bullet.

I don't need heads from wasserboxer, I would like to convert it to air (oxyboxer)...i would use those 040 heads that i have for conversion...
