Type 4 EFI intake manifold
Does anyone make webber style intake manifold's for the type 4 with bosses for injectors at the port? (Like the OEM set up). I swear I have seen them before somewhere, or is everyone just welded the bosses on?
I want to try and attempt a twin injector per cylinder staged injection set up on my turbo EFI engine that I am building. Ideally i would like to run one injector at the port and one higher up near the plenum.

Why 2 injectors per cylinder? Are you hoping to make 1000hp with the combo?

No not quite that much, this isn't even a race motor!
The idea behind the twin injectors is primarily for cooling. I will be running E85 on this engine, and one of the big benefits of E85 is that it evaporates and cools the charge air and the heads really well. And the longer it is in contact with the air the better it works. So the idea is that i will run a primary injector at the port and then a secondary injector (much smaller than the primary) further up the intake runner that comes on at a certan RPM (E85 does need a good amount of air velocity to keep it atomized and off the runner walls) or boost pressure to cool the air, like a water meth set up, which cools the head and better prevents knocking. Well in theory thats how it works, it will take a fair bit of work to get right.
The spot I want to put my intercooler is only small so i want to achieve as much cooling effect as i can, Especially in an Australian summer.
I will obviously have to weld in bosses for the upper injectors, so its not a problem to do the lower ones, would just be handy if it was already done.

Hi,
The sell them by Orratech in Germany
You just have to drill the injector hole yourself.

Yeah they do some nice gear. If I was going Naturally aspirated, a set of those would be high on the list.
