Beetle OEM single tone horn replacement?
Hi all, I'm new here. My 2014 Beetle Convertible TDI has an OEM single hi-tone horn that is weak sounding to me. Has anyone had any luck with replacing the horn with dual tone VW horns, or adding a second low tone for a healthier sound? Or perhaps third party horns that might hook up to the OEM harness? Thanks.

Yours is a wrong wheel drive version, but the generic advise still applies (hint ignore the ghia, 12 volt, and possibly the relay)
Find a 12volt horn that you like, change the wiring to a ghia like relay triggered and wire it up the body side trigger to new load bearing relay run off 12volt.

Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
